TERESA BERGER
Teresa Berger (*1990) is an interdisciplinary designer from Vienna whose work challenges the boundaries between art and design through the medium of ceramics. She graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2018 and has been working independently since 2019.
Her practice is grounded in tactility: stoneware objects with fluid forms, glossy surfaces, and cascading glazes evoke motion, intimacy, and transformation. Each piece emerges from extensive glaze research and a process-driven approach that balances precision with openness to chance. By merging traditional craftsmanship with experimental methods, Teresa turns functional objects into vessels of contemporary expression and expands the aesthetic and conceptual potential of ceramic art.
